Lucky Quick Picks
In overseas lotteries, Quick Picks are randomly generated lines of numbers that are the equivalent of our own Lucky Dip entries. But the Lucky Quick Pick ideas presented in this article are something altogether different.
The Lucky Quick Picks below are simply speedy ways of picking your numbers that may – or may not – prove lucky and win you the lottery prize of your dreams. The ideas here may seem entirely unrelated, but one thing they have in common is that they will help you to generate numbers which seem unique to you at the time you choose them. Of course, we say that these numbers only “seem unique” because we all have the same 49 numbers to choose from, but read on an you’ll see what we mean.
Lucky Quick Pick Ideas:
• If you buy your ticket in a supermarket, check the receipt for your shopping and use the amount you paid as your numbers. Using this idea, if you paid £87.42 for your shopping you might play numbers 8, 7 and 42.
• Check the time when you come to complete your play slip and use it to pick numbers for you. For example, if it’s 12:37, you could enter the numbers 12 and 37 or even 1, 2, 12, 23 and 37.
• Find yourself in a queue for the lottery? Count the number of people in front of you and include that number in one of your lines.
• Those of you who have children or grandchildren can ask one of them to pick numbers for you. Children under the age of 16 aren’t allowed to play the UK Lotto themselves, but there’s no law against them giving you a helping hand.
The Lucky Quick Pick ideas suggested here won’t improve your chances of winning a National Lottery prize in any mathematical sense, but they could prove useful when you need to pick numbers in a rush. And yes, any one of them could well be your ticket to a fortune!
