EuroMillions Pays Out £135,000,000 to One Winner

Updated: Monday 7th October 2024

One lucky player won the jackpot in the latest EuroMillions draw, which took place on Friday 4th October. The ticket which matched all the drawn numbers was sold to a player in Spain leading them to win €165,256,512 (roughly £135,824,926).

The winning numbers of this draw were 4, 8, 16, 17 and 20 with two Lucky Star numbers of 1 and 6. Only one player managed to match all the correct numbers and they are now walking away with the enormous nine-figure reward. However, significant prizes were also won by multiple ticket holders across the UK.

This significant win came a week after the fourth EuroMillions Superdraw of the year. Since nobody matched all the numbers in the first draw, the jackpot rolled over twice which led to this incredible €165,256,512 to eventually be won.

In the EuroMillions Superdraw, the jackpot starts at a huge amount, often around £100 million, and continues to rise from there. As a result, jackpot winners are guaranteed a nine-figure reward. This is made possible due to contributions from the EuroMillions reserve fund.

This time, the top prize came through for a player from Spain, but they weren't the only ones celebrating. A total of £3,317,578.50 was won in the UK across 972,319 total winners. The full prize breakdown of Friday's superdraw winners can be found here.
