EuroMillions Superdraw Set to Excite Fans on Friday 15th September
EuroMillions fans across the continent are bracing themselves for a €130 million (around £115 million) Superdraw that will take place on Friday 15th September. This will be the second Superdraw in less than three months following June’s event which saw a UK ticket holder walk away with £87.5 million.
Superdraws are special draws that are organised by lottery officials across the continent and offer a guaranteed jackpot prize, regardless of whether the top prize is claimed in the previous draw. Superdraws occur when there is additional money available in the EuroMillions Booster Fund, a pot that receives 4.8 percent of the Common Prize Fund from every draw.
EuroMillions players have been treated to an avalanche of Superdraw action of late, with five draws having taken place since the beginning of 2015. In total, there have been 18 Superdraws with seven draws producing a jackpot winner on the night of the initial event. Of course, if the top prize is not claimed at the first time of asking, the reward will roll over and increase ahead of the following draw.
By offering a guaranteed nine-figure sum, Superdraws often produce some of the biggest EuroMillions prizes. The joint-largest reward in the game’s history came as a result of a Superdraw, as a Portuguese player correctly matched all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars to land a €190 million jackpot on Friday 3rd October 2014.
The Superdraw may be a number of weeks away, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t start dreaming of how you would spend £115 million. A new house, a fresh set of wheels, an exotic getaway to the other side of the globe? The possibilities would be endless.
Although tickets for September’s Superdraw aren’t available just yet, there is a £32 million jackpot up for grabs this Friday. To be in with a chance of winning, simply pick your numbers online or play through any authorised retailer. Good luck!
