Friday’s EuroMillions Draw to Offer £112 Million Jackpot
Updated: Friday 27th September 2019
Friday’s EuroMillions draw will boast one of the biggest lottery jackpots in the world as ticket holders aim to win the £112 million prize on offer. The mammoth reward follows Tuesday’s draw in which no players were able to match the numbers 8, 15, 25, 27, 42 and Lucky Stars 1 and 4 to prevent a twelfth straight rollover from occurring.
In terms of size, the EuroMillions jackpot is now only second to that currently being offered by American lottery giant Powerball and is the largest prize that fans of the game have witnessed since October 2016, when a man from Belgium collected a €168 million windfall. A win this Friday would also see the potential victor claim the first jackpot since a French family from Dijon scooped an €83.3 million sum on Tuesday 11th April.
Tuesday’s draw did manage to bring smiles to the faces of over 2.4 million players from across the continent, all of whom managed to secure prizes. Four ticket holders, including two from the UK, came within touching distance of the top prize after correctly matching all five main numbers and one Lucky Star; however, the fortuitous foursome were handsomely rewarded with a six-figure sum in the form of £220,475. A further eight players, including two Brits, also came close after matching all five numbers; they each won £25,675. Despite the jackpot remaining untouched, the evening did manage to create three brand new millionaires. The trio of ticket holders correctly matched one of the three Millionaire Maker codes drawn to land a £1 million prize and a luxury two-week trip to Japan thanks to the inaugural Mega Week draw of May. Much to the delight of the lottery loving public of the UK, this Friday’s draw will see the same prize up for grabs.
Friday’s top prize of £112 million is not one to be missed, so don’t delay in beginning your jackpot journey. Pick your EuroMillions numbers online or play via an authorised retail in any one of the nine participating countries. Best of luck!
