Lotto and EuroMillions Events Lined Up To Celebrate Paris 2024
National Lottery players can look forward to a bumper summer of big jackpots and special promotions, with exciting events lined up for both Lotto and EuroMillions.
They are being held to coincide with the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris, celebrating the contribution that the National Lottery has made in terms of funding for the athletes and sporting infrastructure in the UK.
Lotto Must Be Won Draws
Two Lotto Must Be Won draws have been added to the schedule, guaranteeing some big payouts. The first will take place on Saturday 3rd August, midway through the Olympics, and the second will go ahead on Saturday 7th September, the day before the Paralympics ends.
Both draws will offer a £15 million jackpot and will work the same way as other Must Be Won events. If anyone matches all the numbers, they will win or share the eight-figure prize.
If there are no tickets that match all the numbers, a rolldown will occur and every prize winner will benefit, from Match 2 to Match 5 + Bonus winners. This means that you could win around £100 instead of £30 for matching three numbers, for example. The odds of winning don’t change at all, but there’s a better chance that you will receive more than usual.
10 UK Millionaires Guaranteed
Between the two Lotto promotions, and in the brief gap between the Olympics and the Paralympics, you can look forward to a special EuroMillions draw on 16th August.
The draw will see 10 UK millionaires guaranteed, instead of the usual one, with 10 winning Millionaire Maker codes selected. This increases your odds of winning £1 million significantly.
Speaking about the overall campaign, Allwyn’s Director of Retail Alex Green said: “We’re excited to be launching this unmissable Paris 2024 campaign that champions National Lottery player support for Team GB and ParalympicsGB at the Paris 2024 Games.
“Their support continues to be absolutely vital to the success of our athletes, and so it made perfect sense to centre the campaign on National Lottery players to celebrate and thank them for the impact they’ve made.”
You can see the latest results for all draws this summer as soon as they happen, but don’t forget to take part to give yourself a chance of winning.
