Next EuroMillions European Millionaire Maker Date Set
Updated: Monday 23rd July 2018
The next EuroMillions European Millionaire Maker draw will take place on Friday 23rd February, with 25 players across the continent guaranteed to win £1 million/€1 million each. The game is a multinational version of UK Millionaire Maker, the raffle that distributes at least two £1 million awards in every draw to British players.
How to Play European Millionaire Maker
As with UK Millionaire Maker, you must play at least one EuroMillions line in the draw on Friday 23rd February. For each line you enter, you receive a code made up of four letters and five numbers, which acts as your entry into both the UK-only and European raffles. The cost of entry is included in the usual £2.50-per-line price.
When the EuroMillions results are published, there will be the usual two UK winning codes, along with 25 more from across the nine participating nations. If one of your codes matches any of those drawn exactly, you are a winner. It is entirely possible that you could win prizes in both the UK and European Millionaire Makers!
History of European Millionaire Maker
The first European Millionaire Maker draw took place on Friday 28th October 2016, weeks after a number of EuroMillions changes came into force. The adjustments to the game were intended to create more winners, with the Europe-wide raffle a key part of that strategy.
France fared the best in the first draw, with eight players from that country becoming instant millionaires. Spain and Belgium shared second place, creating four winners apiece, ahead of the UK and Luxembourg, which both saw three successes. There were two Portuguese winners and a single Swiss victory too.
Odds of Winning European Millionaire Maker
Your odds of winning European Millionaire Maker are dependent on how many other people play. Everyone who enters the main EuroMillions draw also takes part in the supplementary game and, as only codes associated with tickets that have been bought for the draw are entered into raffle, all 25 prizes are guaranteed to be won on the night.
Each raffle code has as much chance of winning as any other, no matter where it was bought. Take a look at the European Millionaire Maker page for more information on the game.
Before the excitement of the raffle draw, there are plenty of big EuroMillions jackpots to play for, and you can buy tickets at shops in each of the participating nations, or choose your numbers online right now.
