Winning Lotto HotPicks Ticket Remains Unclaimed in South London
Lottery players in South London have been urged to double check their Lotto HotPicks tickets after a fresh appeal was made to find the owner of a winning line worth £350,000.
Officials ‘Eager To Find Mystery Ticket Holder’
The lucky entry, bought in the borough of Lambeth, matched five of the six numbers drawn on Saturday 26th May. They were 9, 14, 19, 29, 39 and 40. The ticket holder has until 22nd November 2018 to claim their six-figure windfall, but National Lottery officials are keen to locate the winner sooner rather than later.
Andy Carter, senior winners' advisor at The National Lottery said: "We're eager to find the mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings - the amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody's life. We're urging everyone who bought a Lotto HotPicks ticket in this are to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.
"Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa - someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune! We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win."
Are You The Genuine Owner?
Players who believe they are the genuine owner of the winning ticket, but don’t have it in their possession for whatever reason, can make a claim in writing to Camelot, which must be done within 30 days of the draw taking place. Visit our Lost Lottery Tickets page for further information about lost or found entries.
If the lottery’s appeal to the public results in the £350,000 prize being released to the rightful winner over the next few weeks, they could treat themselves with a trip to Russia for the World Cup or invest in a summer holiday with the family. Paying off part of the mortgage or paying for home improvements might be other options to consider too, but the winner should take some time to decide what the best plan of action might be once the funds have been released to them.
However, were the prize claim deadline to expire without the owner of the winning ticket coming forward, the money will be put towards National Lottery-funded projects throughout the United Kingdom. The money is just one example in a long list of unclaimed prizes still waiting to be sent to the rightful owners.
Combined £37.6 Million Up For Grabs In EuroMillions And Lotto
Tonight’s EuroMillions draw is worth an estimated £24 million, and players can begin their summer weekend with a bang by correctly matching all seven numbers to take home the impressive eight-figure top prize. There have already been four EuroMillions jackpot winners so far in June, spread across three consecutive draws, and it would be sensational to see yet another incredible amount claimed this evening.
There’s a cool £13.6 million on offer in the Lotto draw on Saturday 16th June. The jackpot hasn’t been won in five draws, dating back to 26th May when a £9.2 million sum was split between two lucky tickets on the Bank Holiday weekend.
Although there isn’t a long, three-day weekend for UK residents to look forward to this time, the EuroMillions and Lotto draws both offer fantastic opportunities to keep the spring in your step as you enjoy the summer months. Visit our Lottery Tickets page to enter online.
