In the event that more than one player matches six main numbers to win the jackpot, the top prize will be split evenly among the winning ticket holders. So if two players won a €10 million jackpot, they would receive €5 million each.
Lotto Plus
Playing Irish Lotto Plus 1 and Plus 2 for an extra €2 increases your overall chance of winning to 1 in 10!
As both of these additional games also require players to select six numbers from 1 to 47, the odds of winning each prize tier are exactly the same as in the main Lotto draw. The key difference is that Lotto Plus prize values are fixed, meaning the amounts you can win are the same each week.

Typically, jackpot winners do not have to share the top prize, so each player who matches all six main numbers will win the full €1 million/€250,000. However, a prize fund limit of €3.5 million does apply to each draw, so on the rare occasion where this is exceeded payout amounts may be adjusted.
