£177 Million EuroMillions Jackpot Won in the UK
Updated: Wednesday 27th November 2024
The EuroMillions jackpot has finally been won after almost two months - and it goes to a player from the United Kingdom who is now walking home with £177 million.
Third Biggest UK Lottery Win
It has proven to be an incredible last few days for EuroMillions players across the UK. Right off the back of 25 millionaires being made in the UK last Friday (during the European Millionaire Maker Raffle) another UK player managed to win the jackpot and pick up an incredible £177 million during Tuesday night's draw.
This came after the EuroMillions jackpot rolled over a 14th time to finally land on this incredible amount - only a few more draws away from reaching its cap of €250 million (around £208 million).
This makes it the third biggest national lottery win ever, and now the winner ranks amongst some of the wealthiest people in the country - ranking higher than Adele, Harry Styles and Anthony Joshua according to the Sunday Times rich list.
The senior winners’ adviser at Allwyn (National Lottery's operator) commented on this saying “it has been a truly incredible night for a single UK ticket-holder.” Going on to talk about the significance of the win he emphasised that “The win has landed them a spot on the National Lottery’s Rich List, as they have become the third biggest National Lottery winner of all time!
Details of the Draw
The draw in question not only saw a landmark win for one player, but a total of 926,301 UK players picked up prizes on the night - The winning numbers for Tuesday's EuroMillions draw were: 7, 11, 25, 31 and 40 with two Lucky Stars 9 and 12. Here’s a full breakdown of the results.

We are still yet to know the identity of this incredible UK winner. They do have the option to go public with the news or choose to remain anonymous. Either way they only have 180 days to claim their prize before then, so once again - check your tickets!
List of UK Winners
This win ranks just below the two highest National Lottery winners, both coming in 2022: Firstly, we have the winner of the record EuroMillions jackpot who chose to remain anonymous, after picking up a staggering £195 million on the 19th July 2022.
The second-biggest National Lottery prize went to Joe and Jess Thwaite from Gloucester who won approximately £184 million on 10th May 2022. It was at that point the highest lottery win in the UK - before it was quickly overtaken two months after.
