EuroMillions Jackpot Hits £173 Million – Will It Reach its Limit?

EuroMillions Jackpot Hits £173 Million – Will It Reach its Limit?

The EuroMillions Draw of Friday 22nd of November had the potential to be a record-breaker, as the massive (but not the highest!) jackpot - combined with the 100 Millionaires Draw - meant that more than £250 million could have been won.

However, it wasn’t to be the biggest ever combined EuroMillions payout; the jackpot remains unclaimed, and rolls closer and closer to the £208 million jackpot cap (that's €250).

The winning numbers have been confirmed as 10, 11, 12, 29 and 31, with the Lucky Stars 8 and 11, but nobody picked these numbers this time around – in the UK, or anywhere else. The next draw will take place on Tuesday as usual, but what won't be usual is the enormous jackpot on offer. It is estimated to be £173 million. Wow!

Check out the EuroMillions results page for more info on the draw, such as the total winners, the number of UK winners, and how much was won at each prize tier. It's also a good spot to check your numbers, along with your European Millionaire Maker code – more on that next.

Europe's Newest 100 Millionaires

The European Millionaire Maker raffle, A.K.A. the 100 Millionaires Draw, made 100 lucky players millionaires overnight. This works the same way as the UK's regular Millionaire Maker raffle, so there's no need to check your ticket any differently to normal.

Each ticket is assigned a raffle code, and the winners were selected at random, which can sometimes lead to quite an uneven spread across the continent! UK players fared very well, with 25 new millionaires out of the 100.

To win, each digit of the code must match a winning code in exact order, so check carefully! To make things quicker, why not give our online Ticket Checker a spin?

What Happens Next?

There was a lot of interest in the last draw, and with a bigger jackpot, Tuesday's is also sure to cause a buzz. After all, it'll only take a couple more rollovers for the jackpot to reach the historic £208 / €250 million jackpot cap.

Make sure it doesn't get that far though; buy a couple of tickets and cross your fingers! Play online, or visit an authorised lottery retailer to cast your lot.
