EuroMillions Jackpot Rises to £119 million in Superdraw

EuroMillions Jackpot Rises to £119 million in Superdraw

The fourth superdraw of the year saw the £108 million jackpot rollover as no top-prize winning numbers were drawn.

The draw took place on Friday 27th September and gave EuroMillions players the chance to win a guaranteed nine-figure reward. The jackpot will now rise to £119 million. The draw will take place on Tuesday 1st October, giving players the opportunity to win an even bigger prize.

Although the top prize went unclaimed, players across the UK still secured significant winnings.

The winning numbers were: 7, 20, 21, 27 and 38, with lucky stars 5 and 12. This means a total of £3,222,377.90 was won in the UK across  3,693,363 total winners. The full breakdown of Friday's superdraw winners can be found here.

EuroMillions Jackpot Continues to Rise

It can take several weeks for the regular EuroMillions jackpot to rise up to nine-figures. However, the superdraw jackpot actually starts at a minimum of €130 million (£108 million). It will then continue to rise from there if no one secures the top prize after the first draw - as seen in this instance.

Now the jackpot will continue to rollover until one lucky player matches all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars. It could also reach its cap of €250 million (approximately £212 million) but this has not happened since December 2023. This was when a player from Austria won a record £206 million and subsequently raised the jackpot cap for future draws.

In the past, UK players have won enormous sums from the jackpot rolling over. In 2022, one lucky UK player won a grand total of £171 million. This came after the jackpot rolled over from an initial £112 million in the first draw.

So far this year, the superdraw jackpot has rolled over twice. The latest draw in June rolled over a few weeks, until a player from Portugal walked away with an astounding £180 million. The first jackpot of 2024 rolled over until it was eventually split between a UK couple and a player from Spain.
