EuroMillions Jackpot Rises to £202 million: Biggest in the UK!

Updated: Wednesday 26th March 2025
After there were no winners in Tuesday's EuroMillions draw, the jackpot has rolled over again - resulting in an enormous £202 million ready to be picked up on Friday! If it’s won in the UK, this will be the biggest ever EuroMillions win in the country!
That’s not to say Tuesday's draw wasn’t exciting in itself. With around £183 million up for grabs, a total of 42 million players across Europe entered into the draw to try and take home the prize.
The numbers came out as 1, 3, 18, 33 and 36, with two Lucky Stars 2 and 6. While nobody matched all the numbers, two players got extremely close - matching all five of the main numbers, but just one lucky star. One of these players came from the UK, who won just shy of half a million (£449,612) as a result. The other lucky player was from Austria who got €616,553!
Now all eyes are set for the next draw, as the top prize has been boosted to £202 million, which is one of the biggest jackpots ever, and set to be the biggest win the UK has ever seen!
How Did This Happen?
The reason the jackpot has got to this incredible amount is because of the Superdraw! These are special EuroMillions draws that instantly boost the top prize, no matter what it was in the previous draw.
The last one took place on the 7th March 2025, which took the total jackpot up to £109 million. Since nobody won it since then, and it has kept rising each time, we have now landed on this near record-breaking prize.
If nobody wins on Friday, the jackpot will reach its limit of €250 million. From that point, any additional funds that would usually be added to the top prize will be distributed to winners in the Match 5 + 1 category. So if there was ever a time to purchase a EuroMillions ticket, it would be now.
Biggest UK Winners
As stated, this win would place it as the biggest in the UK. Finally overtaking the £195 million which was picked up by an anonymous player on 19th July 2022.
Second place currently goes to Joe and Jess Thwaite from Gloucester, who went public to happily announce their astounding £184 million in May 2022!
We then have the third highest UK winner who took home a £177 million prize in a draw that took place just last December.
Will this Friday see a UK winner top the lot? Or will it roll over or go to another player in Europe? Only time will tell, but before then you can get involved in Friday’s draw yourself by purchasing tickets online.
