EuroMillions Jackpot Soars Towards Second Highest of 2017!
Updated: Monday 23rd July 2018
The EuroMillions jackpot this Friday 12 May will be the second highest of 2017 if the current official estimate of £75 million proves accurate. The biggest EuroMillions jackpot of the year thus far was worth a shade over £76 million, and was landed by a single ticket on Tuesday 24 January. That makes Friday’s jackpot likely to be second-best, but demand for tickets is sure to be higher than usual, and so it is quite possible that it could actually turn out to be even bigger.
Whatever the final value of the jackpot turns out to be this Friday, it will certainly be more than enough to fulfil the financial ambitions of all but the greediest of lottery players. Back in November 2016, Heat magazine estimated that singer Ed Sheeran was worth around £45 million, and that Harry Pottery star Daniel Radcliffe was worth around £74 million, so anyone who lands £75 million this Friday will enjoy the kind of wealth that is often reserved for top celebrities and business moguls.
Having £75 million at your disposal is something that could transform every aspect of your life in a massive way. Forget paying off the mortgage or buying yourself a new house – that kind of money could buy you a castle or even your own private island. Right now, there are several islands in the Caribbean being offered for as little as $6 million, and you can buy yourself an island in Canada or the USA for even less. You could buy one of those, grab yourself a £3 million castle in France or Italy for the weekends, and still have plenty of cash left over.
Whilst many lottery jackpot winners like to buy themselves a new car, a £75 million jackpot would enable you to think even bigger in the transport department too. Why not buy yourself a private jet and an intensive piloting course so that you can learn to fly it yourself? Or maybe you’d prefer to buy a luxury yacht and hire a staff of people to help you enjoy it to the full? Just think, this time next week you could be relaxing on the deck, sipping champagne as the sun sets over the clear blue ocean.
When it comes to entertaining yourself, £75 million could help you explore new territory, quite literally. If you ever fancied yourself as an Indiana Jones or Lara Croft type, you could become a full-time adventurer, travelling the world in search of its hidden secrets. If you are feeling less adventurous, you could entertain yourself in other ways. Perhaps you’d like to hire your favourite musicians to perform concerts in the grounds of your castle? Or maybe you’d want to use your wealth to mingle with the rich and famous at their five-star haunts?
Let’s not forget the altruistic deeds that you could afford to do with the cash, either. You could send chunks of money to friends, family members, neighbours and your favourite charities. You might even want to set up a brand new charitable organisation to help a good cause that you feel is being ignored.
All of these things might sound like flights of fancy, but they could easily become tangible realities for any lottery player who is lucky enough to win this Friday’s £75 million EuroMillions jackpot. That said, if you have any ambition to win big – seriously big – then now is your chance. All you have to do to give yourself a shot at success is choose your numbers, so don't put it off until later, running the risk of forgetting, do it now!
