EuroMillions Superdraw Set to Delight Players This June
Updated: Wednesday 7th June 2017
EuroMillions fans across the continent will be treated to a Superdraw on Friday 30th June as ticket holders in all nine participating nations are given the chance to win an incredible jackpot worth €100 million (currently worth around £85 million).
This will be the 19th Superdraw EuroMillions fans have experienced, with the most recent taking place on Friday 30th September 2016. The jackpot went unclaimed on that night and rolled over three times before a player from Belgium eventually claimed a prize of £153.3 million on Tuesday 11th October. In fact, only six Superdraws have produced a winner of the top prize on the night of the first draw, with the total usually increasing to an even larger amount before being won.
Superdraws can occur at any time during the year, with money from the EuroMillions Booster Fund used to top up the jackpot; this fund receives 4.8 percent of the Common Prize Fund from each regular EuroMillions draw. It will be the fourth Superdraw to have taken place in the month of June.
News of this Superdraw comes just days after a Belgian ticket holder landed themselves a £134.8 million prize after matching all seven numbers to bring an end to a run of 14 consecutive rollovers.
Neil Trotter from Coulsdon in south London was just one of the lucky players to benefit from a EuroMillions Superdraw win. A jackpot worth €100 million (£82.9 million) was originally offered on Friday 7th March 2014, with the 41-year-old car mechanic eventually pouncing on a £107.9 million prize in the draw on Friday 14th March. Thanks to his remarkable win, the self-confessed motor racing fanatic instantly became the 745th richest person in the UK.
While you wait for this month’s Superdraw, why not test your luck in Friday’s draw when the jackpot will be worth £25 million? You can pick your numbers online or play via any authorised retailer. Best of luck!
