Get Set for Historic EuroMillions Draw

History beckons in the EuroMillions draw on Friday 22nd November, with the jackpot up to £158 million and 100 millionaires guaranteed to be made across Europe.

If the jackpot is won, it promises to be the most that has ever been paid out in a single draw, when combined with the 100 players who will definitely win £1 million or €1 million. It would be a fitting way to mark the National Lottery’s 30-year anniversary, as well as 20 years of EuroMillions.

Soaring Jackpot

The jackpot has had its longest run of draws without a winner in 2024, with 13 consecutive rollovers sending it soaring past £150 million. The last time it was won was on 4th October, when a Spanish ticket landed a prize worth £135 million.

A UK win on Friday would be the country’s sixth-largest of all time, and the highest for more than two years. The UK record remains the £195 million that went to an anonymous player in July 2022.

If the jackpot rolls over again, it could soon surpass that mark. It may even go on to reach the EuroMillions Cap of €250 million (approximately £208 million) in the next week or two.

100 Millionaires

Whether the jackpot is won or not on Friday, there will be a multitude of new millionaires by the weekend. Everyone who buys a ticket in all nine participating countries will be entered into the special edition of the European Millionaire Maker.

In the UK, this is just an extension of the regular Millionaire Maker raffle, so you don’t need to do anything different to normal. You receive a code for each line of numbers you play.

On Friday, 100 winning codes will be selected at random from all the ones that have been entered throughout the continent. Match any of these codes exactly and you’ll get £1 million.

There is no way of knowing how many will be from each nation, but a similar event in February 2023 created 30 UK millionaires out of 100.

Make sure you don’t miss out on the opportunity to take part in what could be arguably the biggest EuroMillions draw ever. You can then use the Checker afterwards to discover whether you have won one of the incredible prizes up for grabs.
