Lotto Player Scoops £9.3 Million Jackpot

The Lotto jackpot was won on Saturday 24th March as a single ticket holder matched all six main numbers to pocket £9.3 million and end a run of three consecutive rollovers. The top prize has now been given away on five separate occasions since the start of the year.

Saturday’s winning numbers were 3, 11, 16, 36, 43 and 59, with Bonus Ball 49. There were a total of 1.1 million prize winners on the night, and apart from the jackpot the other awards ranged from a free Lotto Lucky Dip for matching two main numbers to £25,193 for matching three main numbers plus the Bonus Ball.

Lotto Jackpot
The Lotto jackpot had previously been won on Saturday 10th March, by a lucky player who scooped £7.8 million, while there has only been one bigger payout in 2018. That happened on Saturday 17th February when a ticket holder banked £18.1 million.
The latest winner now has 180 days from the date of the draw to come forward and claim their prize. They can decide to go public with their story or keep their identity private.
Next Draw
The next Lotto draw will take place on Wednesday night, with an estimated jackpot of £1.8 million. There is also a top prize of £40 million available on Tuesday evening following a rollover on Friday, while Thunderball has a guaranteed £500,000 up for grabs four times a week.
