The Lotto and Thunderball jackpots were both won on Wednesday, just 24 hours after a player from the UK landed a £58 million jackpot in the EuroMillions lottery. The winning run is set to continue as 13 UK players will win £1 million each in a special version of the UK Millionaire Maker raffle on Friday.

Lottery results for Wednesday 11th July

The winning numbers from the Lotto draw on Wednesday were 8, 11, 17, 25, 33, and 46, with Bonus Ball 13. Over 900,000 players won prizes, from 815,000 who won a free ticket for a future draw to the single jackpot winner. Over £13.6 million in prize money was won in total. Nothing is known yet about the jackpot winner and the wait is now on for them to come forward and claim their prize. Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at the National Lottery, said: “What a week for National Lottery players. Last night there was a £57.9 million EuroMillions jackpot winner and tonight we also have a £10.5 million Lotto jackpot winner. As if that wasn't enough, there was also a £500,000 top prize winner on Thunderball this evening. All players are urged to check their tickets and as ever we are ready to celebrate with a glass of champagne.”

Last night’s Thunderball win was the second in a week, after another on Friday 6th July. The winning numbers from Wednesday’s draw were 3, 11, 30, 32, and 34, with Thunderball 11. The jackpot-winning ticket matched all of the numbers to land the £500,00 prize, taking the total prize fund for that draw to £727,000.

All three of this week’s winners have 180 days from the date of the winning draw to claim their prizes. Any money left unclaimed after this period will go to the National Lottery’s Good Causes fund.

Over £30 Million to Be Won This Weekend

The EuroMillions and Lotto jackpots might have been won this week, but there is still plenty to play for this weekend. Firsty, on Friday, a special EuroMillions Millionaire Maker raffle will award 13 prizes of £1 million to UK players, and that’s in addition to the £15 million on offer in the main game. Then, on Saturday, a Lotto jackpot worth an estimated £3.1 million will be up for grabs.
