September Superdraw on the Way for EuroMillions Fans
On Friday 27th September, the next EuroMillions Superdraw will give players in the UK and the rest of Europe the chance to win a spectacular jackpot of £110 million (guaranteed value of €130 million).
Superdraws only happen a few times a year, making them among the most exciting dates on the calendar for fans of the game. They are essentially the same as regular draws, except that the top prize is significantly enhanced.
You usually have to wait several weeks for a jackpot of more than £100 million to accumulate, but in a Superdraw the money is taken straight from the Reserve Fund and put up for grabs.
The jackpot might be won on the night, but if not it will just roll over until someone matches all the numbers or it reaches its cap of €250 million (approximately £213 million).
UK Superdraw Success
UK players have previously enjoyed a lot of success in EuroMillions Superdraws, although it has not been since June 2023 that a ticket holder from the country won the jackpot on the night of the big event.
Back in January, in the first Superdraw of 2024, the Superdraw rolled over at the first time of asking but a UK player then split £123 million with someone from Spain in the following draw. Richard and Debbie Nuttall from Colne were revealed as the UK winners of more than £61 million, discovering the news whilst on holiday in Fuerteventura.
Whether you find out that you’ve won a multimillion-pound jackpot or a few quid, it is a good idea to know how to go about claiming EuroMillions prizes. You can then start to think about how you would spend your winnings, and whether you would go public or stay anonymous in the event of a big win.
EuroMillions draws continue every Tuesday and Friday in the run-up to the Superdraw, so don’t forget to keep playing. You can also use the EuroMillions Checker to help you see if you are a winner.
