Single Player Wins Biggest EuroMillions Jackpot Ever

Updated: Saturday 29th March 2025
EuroMillions made someone’s dreams come true on Friday night as a lucky player matched all the numbers to win a jackpot worth around £210 million.
The jackpot-winning ticket was sold in Austria, but it was still a wonderful night for UK players who matched some of the numbers drawn - 21, 30, 42 and 45, plus Lucky Stars 1 and 9.
Go to the Prize Breakdown page for 28th March to see a rundown of the winners for each category and the winning Millionaire Maker code – the details of which did not come through until much later than normal after a delay in the release of the results.
The next step if you won a prize is to claim your money within 180 days of the draw date. See the page on How to Claim to learn what you need to do.
Friday’s big jackpot came on the back of the recent Superdraw on 7th March and subsequent rollovers, which set up the chance for someone in the UK to become the country’s record winner.
As the jackpot ended up going to Austria, the UK record continues to belong to the anonymous player who claimed £195 million during a summer heatwave in July 2022.
When is the next Superdraw?
Superdraws take place every few months and create many of EuroMillions’ biggest jackpots, as the top prize is increased to a guaranteed €130 million. It would otherwise take a long run of rollovers to build up to nine figures.
If nobody wins on the night, the jackpot can keep growing until someone wins, or until it reaches its cap of €250 million (approximately £210 million).
The date of the next Superdraw has not yet been announced, but the wait is unlikely to be too long. There has been one in June in each of the last four years, so a summer Superdraw can again be anticipated eagerly. As soon as the National Lottery operators agree on a date, it will be published on Lottery.co.uk.
In the meantime, the jackpot will reset to £14 million for the next draw. Play online or visit an authorised retailer.
