Set For Life Super Chance Draws
Super Chance draws are special events that give you the chance to win the Set For Life top prize even if you match just five main numbers without the Life Ball. In a Super Chance draw, anyone who wins in either of the top two tiers will win £10,000 a month for 30 years.
If no players match five numbers or five numbers plus the Life Ball in a Super Chance Draw, the following draw will also be a Super Chance draw. These special events will continue to be held until at least one player wins the top prize. After that, Set For Life prizes will revert to normal until the National Lottery schedules another Super Chance draw.

The Match 5 prize tier is the only one that changes in a Super Chance draw; all other prizes remain the same.

Super Chance draws significantly improve your chances of winning the top prize, reducing the odds from 1 in 15,339,390 in a regular draw to 1 in 1,533,939. The overall odds of winning any prize remain the same at 1 in 12.4.
Super Chance Draw Prize Capping
Like regular Set For Life draws, a prize cap is in place for Super Chance draws, although the cap is raised from £16 million to £18 million. This means that in the unlikely event that there are more than five winners of the top prize (both those who match five numbers and those who match five numbers and the Life Ball), the sum of £18 million will be shared equally between them.
If the prize cap does come in to play, winners have the option to receive the money as an annuity – which will work out as less than £10,000 per month for 30 years – or they can receive the money in a single lump sum payment.
